Technical Lead responsible for managing engineering application platforms supporting the Hardware Platform Solutions (HPS) organization across 12 global Design Centres. This role serves as the bridge between Engineering and IT, ensuring critical engineering tools, development platforms, application licensing, and DevOps environments remain operational and optimized.

Job Description

* Manage engineering application environments supporting global R&D teams

* Deploy, package, configure, and maintain specialized engineering software

* Support EDA, CAD, simulation, PCB, FPGA, and optics toolchains

* Manage software licensing and license server operations

* Support Azure DevOps, Jira, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes platforms

* Enable rapid onboarding of hardware and software engineers

* Troubleshoot engineering application and environment issues

* Support firmware development and secure SDLC tooling

* Maintain Windows and Linux engineering environments

* Partner with engineering teams to improve productivity and platform reliability

The Successful Applicant

A successful HW & SW Engineering Application Admin should have:

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field

* Minimum 5+ years in IT System Administration or Application Engineering

* Minimum 2+ years supporting active R&D engineering teams

* Experience supporting EDA/CAD platforms (Cadence, Synopsys, Ansys, PTC, etc.)

* Azure DevOps, Git, Jira, and CI/CD administration experience

* Docker and Kubernetes experience

* Knowledge of FlexLM, RMS, or enterprise license management systems

* Windows and Linux administration experience

* Strong troubleshooting and stakeholder management skills

* Experience supporting engineering or product development environments
