Job Description

  • Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of testbed infrastructure to support technology initiatives.
  • Develop and execute strategies for improving testing efficiency and infrastructure scalability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure with technology projects.
  • Monitor and optimize performance metrics for infrastructure operations.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices in the technology and telecoms sector.
  • Lead and mentor the team to achieve departmental objectives and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Manage budgets and resources effectively to deliver value-driven outcomes.
  • Identify and mitigate risks related to testbed and infrastructure operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Section, Testbed & Infra should have:* More than 15 years' related experience.

* Strong background in leading and guiding teams across multiple functions.

* Experience in solution development, product management, technical project management.

* Proven experience in taking ideas from concept to implementation of PoC / prototype.

* Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing complex projects.

* Understanding of various tech domains and topics relevant to telcos (e.g. networking technologies, cloud, software development, digital platforms, AI, Cybersecurity).

* Experience with agile development methodologies.

* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve issues during the solution development process.

* Understanding of user-centric design thinking principles and experience in prototyping and MVP
