Job Description

  • Lead procurement planning to align purchasing activities with operational requirements.
  • Manage sourcing processes to secure suitable goods and services for the business.
  • Review supplier options and negotiate commercial terms to support value-led purchasing decisions.
  • Build and maintain supplier relationships to promote dependable supply arrangements.
  • Oversee purchasing activities and ensure orders are placed in line with agreed requirements.
  • Monitor procurement spend and identify practical opportunities to improve cost control.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and prioritise procurement actions.
  • Improve procurement processes to support clear, timely and consistent purchasing practices.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head Of Procurement should have:

  • Strong procurement and supply chain capability.
  • Experience leading sourcing and purchasing activities.
  • Ability to evaluate suppliers and negotiate commercial terms.
  • Knowledge of procurement planning and spend management.
  • Ability to manage supplier relationships and purchasing priorities.
  • Experience improving procurement processes.
