Job Description

This role will be looking after:

  • APAC regional leadership responsibilities, from Japan to Australia
  • IT commercial leadership responsibilities, including both online e-commerce channels as well as physical shops
  • Looking after digital transformation from local legacy systems to ERP systems
  • Develop and implement IT strategies to support business goals in the Asia-Pacific region.
  • Oversee the management and maintenance of IT infrastructure, applications, and systems.
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure alignment with corporate IT policies and initiatives.
  • Drive digital transformation projects to enhance operational efficiency and customer engagement.
  • Manage IT budgets and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
  • Lead and mentor the IT team to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with data protection regulations and cybersecurity standards.
  • Identify emerging technologies and assess their potential to add value to the business.

The Successful Applicant

You will need to have experiences in:

  • Proven experience in IT leadership roles within the retail industry is preferred
  • Strong expertise in IT infrastructure, systems integration, and digital transformation.
  • Regional exposure is necessary.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Knowledge of data protection laws and cybersecurity practices.
  • Ability to manage budgets and optimize IT investments.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
