Job Description

  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support organisational goals.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
  • Analyse financial data to identify trends and provide actionable insights.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and financial institutions.
  • Lead and mentor the finance team to achieve high performance.
  • Monitor cash flow and optimise working capital management.
  • Support key business decisions with financial expertise and strategic advice.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Finance Management should have:

  • A degree in Acturial, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Candidates with Acturial Background coupled with Life Insurance/Investor Relations is preferred.
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations (IFRS 17) within the insurance industry.
  • Proven leadership skills in managing finance teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
