Job Description

  • Lead and manage the finance department to ensure accurate reporting and compliance with regulations.
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support business goals.
  • Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis processes.
  • Provide strategic financial advice to senior management for decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and statutory reporting requirements.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors, banks, and regulatory authorities.
  • Monitor financial performance and recommend improvements to enhance profitability.
  • Guide and mentor the finance team to foster professional growth and excellence.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Head of Finance should have:

  • A recognized degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards in Malaysia.
  • Proven expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • The ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly and effectively.
  • Experience in the energy and natural resources industry is an advantage.
