About Our Client

Our client is a globally established organisation with a strong Global Business Service Centre in Malaysia, supporting logistics and supply chain operations across international markets. With ongoing expansion, the team is hiring to support global shipment operations.

Job Description

  • Manage shipment bookings and transport arrangements, primarily for sea freight.
  • Coordinate with logistics providers, forwarders, and internal stakeholders.
  • Track shipments, vessel movements, and delivery timelines.
  • Handle shipment delays, disruptions, and operational issues proactively.
  • Monitor vendor performance and ensure service quality.
  • Prepare and verify transport and shipping documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and processes.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Transport Management professional should have:

  • 1-3 years of experience in logistics, shipping, or freight operations.
  • Hands-on experience in shipment coordination, booking, or vendor management.
  • Exposure to sea freight operations is preferred (land or air transport experience will also be considered).
  • Strong understanding of shipment processes, including coordination with forwarders and service providers.
  • Ability to assess options and make decisions (e.g. selecting vendors, handling shipment disruptions).
  • Basic knowledge of international shipping regulations and documentation is an advantage.
