Job Description

  • Ensure compliance with global customs preferential management regulations and rules of origin.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to streamline supply chain processes related to customs management.
  • Analyse and interpret trade agreements to optimise preferential duty savings.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and records for customs audits and inspections.
  • Provide guidance on rules of origin to ensure adherence to international trade requirements.
  • Collaborate with procurement teams to align sourcing strategies with regulatory standards.
  • Identify and implement process improvements within customs management operations.
  • Stay updated on changes in customs regulations and trade agreements impacting the organisation.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Global Customs Preferential Management & Rules of Origin (Senior) should have:

    • Strong knowledge of customs preferential management and rules of origin.
    • Experience in procurement and supply chain operations within global contexts.
    • Analytical skills to interpret trade agreements and regulatory requirements.
    • Deep understanding of Rules of Origin and Preferential Trade Agreements
    • Knowledge of customs regulations across multiple countries
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
    • Data analysis and reporting skills
    • Stakeholder management and communication skills
    • Process improvement mindset
    • Ability to work with regional and global teams



  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Proficiency in keeping up with changes in customs and trade regulations.
  • candidates with 3-7 years of experience in Customs, Trade Compliance, Import/Export Operations, or Global Trade Management, particularly those with hands-on exposure to Free Trade Agreements (FTA), Rules of Origin (ROO), and customs regulations
