Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Global Customs Compliance Specialist to play a key role in shaping and strengthening global customs governance and compliance standards across international operations.

In this position, you will:

  • Lead the development and governance of global customs policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks
  • Ensure customs documentation, controls, and compliance requirements remain accurate, updated, and globally aligned
  • Drive customs risk assessments, compliance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Monitor regulatory, legal, and trade developments, translating business impacts into actionable guidance
  • Partner closely with regional customs teams, legal, audit, risk management, and process design stakeholders worldwide
  • Support customs-related mergers, acquisitions, and strategic business projects
  • Perform analytical reviews and develop management reports and dashboards to support decision-making
  • Deliver knowledge-sharing sessions and training programs to customs stakeholders across regions
  • Coordinate and contribute to global customs transformation and improvement projects



The Successful Applicant

A successful Global Customs Compliance Specialist should have:

  • Strong experience in Customs, Foreign Trade, International Trade Compliance, or Supply Chain Governance
  • Sound knowledge of customs regulations, compliance controls, audits, and trade requirements
  • Experience engaging with customs authorities, brokers, consultants, or regulatory bodies
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across global teams
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a structured approach to decision-making
  • Proven ability to manage projects and drive process improvements
  • Strong communication skills with professional written and spoken English
  • Experience with SAP master data systems; exposure to SAP GTS will be an added advantage
  • Ability to operate effectively within a multicultural and international business environment
