Global Commodity Manager (Mechanical/Metal)

An established Medical Devices Manufacturing Company is seeking a seasoned Global Commodity Manager - Metal to lead global sourcing strategies and supplier management across key metal commodities, including sheet metal, castings, forgings, machining, and fabricated components.

In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing global commodity strategies that drive cost competitiveness, supply continuity, supplier performance, and long-term value creation. You will lead strategic sourcing activities, supplier selection, commercial negotiations, contract management, risk mitigation, and cost optimization initiatives across the global supply base.

You will work closely with Engineering, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Logistics, and Finance teams to support new product introductions (NPI), supplier development programs, and business growth objectives. The role will also focus on strengthening supplier capabilities, managing supply risks, improving operational performance, and ensuring a resilient and scalable supply network.
