We are seeking a Full Stack Developer (Senior) to join our team in Penang. This role is an individual contributor position, which responsible for architecting, building, and overseeing mission‑critical software that connects enterprise IT systems.

Our client is a large Manufacturer, based in Penang and currently expanding their software team. The company is dedicated to leveraging technology to drive innovation and optimize processes within its operations.

Job Description

  • Develop and maintain both front-end and back-end components of web applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and deploy software solutions.
  • Responsibilities including Enterprise-Scale Software Design & Development, IT/OT system integration, Process control and Quality System Support
  • Establish CI/CD pipelines for industrial software deployments.
  • Debug and resolve technical issues to improve application performance.
  • Serve as enterprise subject matter expert in IT/OT software architecture.
  • Act as a technical escalation point for root cause analysis (RCA) for production-impacting events.
  • Working with cross functional team (Manufacturing, Engineering, and quality Teams) to make sure system delivery is smooth.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Full Stack Developer should have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience in front-end and back-end development.
  • Proficiency in programming languages/framework such as Python scripting, Django framework, Flask Framework, SQL and Quasar Framework
  • Experience with web API development and integration (RESTful APIs, JSON).
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting and optimizing, Siemens Opcenter, SCADA systems.
  • Experience with Azure, Docker, building containers, Containerizing apps build for a Window Environment and Run Deck automation service
  • Min of 5 years of software development experience in manufacturing industry
