Job Description

  • Prepare accurate financial reports to provide a clear view of business performance.
  • Ensure compliance and adherence to corporate policies, local country, and US GAAP, as well as tax, customs, and trade compliance.
  • Oversee accounting activities and maintain reliable financial records.
  • Review financial data and address reporting issues in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate period-end reporting activities to support timely financial close.
  • Monitor financial results and highlight key movements for management review.
  • Maintain consistent accounting information across relevant finance records.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to gather financial information for reporting purposes.
  • Improve reporting processes where practical to support accurate and efficient finance operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Financial Controller (Batu Kawan) should have:

  • Strong capability in financial reporting and accounting operations.
  • Experience reviewing financial data and identifying reporting discrepancies.
  • Ability to manage period-end reporting activities with accuracy.
  • Sound understanding of financial records and reporting processes.
  • Confidence working with detailed financial information.
  • Ability to present financial findings in a clear and practical manner.
