An exciting opportunity for an ESG Data Analyst to take ownership of end-to-end sustainability reporting for a multinational organisation's Asia operations. The role will be responsible for ESG data management, regulatory compliance, ESG disclosures, and reporting aligned with global sustainability frameworks including GRI, ESRS, ISSB and TCFD.

Our client is a well-established multinational organisation with a strong presence across Asia and a mature global sustainability agenda. As part of its continued commitment to ESG excellence, the organisation is strengthening its internal reporting capabilities and is looking for a dedicated ESG professional to support regional sustainability reporting and compliance requirements.

Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end ESG reporting activities across Environmental, Social and Governance pillars.
  • Collect, validate and consolidate sustainability data from multiple business units and regional offices.
  • Ensure compliance with recognised reporting frameworks including GRI, ESRS, TCFD, ISSB and IFRS Sustainability Standards.
  • Own reporting processes, ESG disclosures and sustainability reporting submissions.
  • Analyse ESG performance data and identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement.
  • Manage carbon accounting data including Scope 1, Scope 2 and Scope 3 emissions reporting.
  • Support the development of ESG dashboards, reports and visualisations using reporting tools such as Power BI.
  • Coordinate with regional stakeholders to improve ESG data quality, governance and audit readiness.
  • Work closely with global ESG leadership to support sustainability initiatives and reporting requirements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful ESG Data Analyst should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Data Science, Finance or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3-5 years of ESG reporting experience, ideally with ownership of full reporting cycles.
  • Practical experience with at least one recognised ESG framework such as GRI, ESRS, ISSB or TCFD.
  • Broad exposure across Environmental, Social and Governance topics rather than a single ESG pillar.
  • Strong understanding of ESG data collection, validation, reporting and regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Experience managing sustainability metrics including carbon emissions, waste, energy usage and social governance indicators.
  • Advanced Excel skills with exposure to Power BI, Tableau, SQL or other reporting tools advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage regional and global stakeholders.
