Job Description

  • Lead and motivate a team of electrical design engineers to deliver high‑quality design concepts
  • Manage and drive electrical design activities across multiple engineering projects
  • Partner with the purchasing team on component specifications and localisation initiatives
  • Provide technical guidance to internal and external manufacturing and production teams
  • Evaluate design feasibility, performance, and cost, and recommend enhancements where needed
  • Propose alternative solutions and design changes to prevent or resolve equipment issues
  • Improve and streamline design workflows in collaboration with cross‑functional stakeholders
  • Support continuous improvement and innovation within design standards and practices

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Software Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
  • Strong background in electrical and electronic machine design with leadership experience
  • Advanced proficiency in 3D electrical design tools
  • Hands‑on experience with ECAD systems such as EPlan or equivalent
  • Exposure to software packaging tools such as InstallShield is an advantage
  • Proven experience managing engineering or design projects
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to assess risks and opportunities
  • Excellent communication skills and strong commitment to project outcomes
