Job Description

  • Develop detailed mechanical or electrical designs and specifications for manufacturing systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure designs meet project requirements and standards.
  • Conduct feasibility studies and analyze design concepts for performance and reliability.
  • Create and review technical drawings, 3D models, and documentation for manufacturing processes.
  • Provide technical support during the prototyping and production phases.
  • Identify and implement cost-effective engineering solutions to optimize manufacturing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company guidelines.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance engineering and manufacturing efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Design Engineer should have:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in circuit design, CAD software or 3D modeling tools.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical or electrical systems and manufacturing processes.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.
