With a strong presence across Asia and global markets, Principal is committed to delivering investment excellence, operational integrity, and exceptional client service.Job DescriptionMonitor and process mandatory and voluntary corporate actions, including dividends, coupon payments, stock splits, rights issues, bonus issues, mergers, tender offers, and redemptions.Review and validate corporate action notifications received from custodians and market vendors.Ensure timely elections and responses for voluntary corporate actions.Reconcile corporate action events and entitlements against custodian records.Investigate and resolve discrepancies relating to corporate action processing.Liaise with custodians, brokers, fund accountants, and portfolio managers on corporate action-related matters.Maintain accurate documentation and audit trails for all corporate action events.Create, maintain, and update security master data across internal systems.Ensure accuracy and completeness of instrument attributes, market identifiers, pricing sources, classifications, and regulatory data.Maintain reference data for equities, fixed income securities, mutual funds, derivatives, and other investment instruments.Perform daily data quality checks and validations to ensure integrity of investment data.Investigate and resolve security master and reference data exceptions.Support onboarding of new instruments, markets, and products.Perform daily reconciliations and exception management activities.Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end operational processes.Ensure compliance with operating procedures, regulatory requirements, and internal controls.Prepare operational reports, dashboards, and management information as required.Support internal and external audit requests.Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, Banking, or a related discipline.Professional qualifications or certifications in investment operations will be an added advantage.Minimum 0-2 years of experience in Corporate Actions, Investment Operations, Fund Administration, Custody Operations, Securities Operations, or Data Management.Experience within asset management, investment banking, fund services, custodial services, or financial institutions is preferred.Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.Good analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and investment operation systems.Knowledge of Bloomberg, Reuters, Eagle, SimCorp, Charles River, or similar investment platforms would be advantageous.What's on Offer6 months contractCovered medical expenses.Opportunity to work in a well-known organisation.Hybrid working arrangmentContactIzzati ManQuote job refJN-072026-7072690Phone number+603 2302 4059Job summaryFunctionBanking & Financial ServicesSpecialisationOperations / Middle Office - Asset ManagementWhat is your area of specialisation?Financial ServicesLocationKuala LumpurContract TypeTemporaryConsultant nameIzzati ManConsultant contact+603 2302 4059Job ReferenceJN-072026-7072690
