Job Description

  • Coordinate end-to-end cargo movements across multiple logistics service lines and ensure smooth operational handovers.
  • Maintain visibility of inbound and outbound operations, inventory status, customs processes, and shipment milestones.
  • Convert forecasted volumes into resource and capacity planning requirements across short, medium, and long-term horizons.
  • Identify capacity constraints and escalate operational risks before they impact performance.
  • Manage prioritization during peak demand periods and balance warehouse throughput requirements.
  • Develop and govern operational KPI frameworks, performance thresholds, and escalation protocols.
  • Facilitate governance meetings and align stakeholders on operational decisions and actions.
  • Partner with customer-facing teams, operations teams, and continuous improvement functions to drive sustainable operational enhancements.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Control Tower Manager should have:

  • At least 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, ocean operations, or related environments.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex cross-functional operations or control tower environments.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, container freight station activities, ocean allocation, and end-to-end supply chain processes.
  • Experience creating and implementing operational KPI frameworks and performance reporting structures.
  • Strong analytical capability with the ability to challenge assumptions and make data-driven decisions.
  • Effective stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-volume, and peak-season environments.
