Job Description

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimise cost, quality, and delivery timelines.
  • Oversee supplier selection, evaluation, and relationship management to ensure reliable partnerships.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to align with business requirements and reduce excess stock.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors to achieve favourable terms and conditions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance supply chain efficiency.
  • Analyse market trends and identify opportunities to improve procurement processes.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all procurement activities.
  • Provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement in supply chain operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Commodity Manager (Indirect) should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in procurement, supply chain, or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in procurement and supply chain processes within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry.
