Job Description

  • Maintain and support the company's AWS infrastructure, applications, and cloud services.
  • Ensure high availability and optimal performance of AWS environments.
  • Implement and manage auto-scaling, load balancing, and disaster recovery/failover solutions.
  • Automate operational tasks, workflows, and deployments using tools such as Python, PowerShell, Terraform, or Ansible.
  • Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for scalable and repeatable infrastructure provisioning.
  • Deploy and maintain monitoring and observability tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Datadog, Grafana, and Prometheus.
  • Optimize cloud resource utilization and support cloud cost management initiatives.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal stakeholders and team members.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure and operational processes align with organizational standards

The Successful Applicant

  • Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services and infrastructure management.
  • Strong understanding of AWS services
  • Experience in managing, monitoring, and troubleshooting cloud infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of cloud networking, security, and best practices.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.) is an added advantage.
  • Scripting or automation experience using Python or PowerShell is an added advantage.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is an added advantage.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • AWS certifications will be an added advantage.
