Our client is looking for a high-caliber Investment & Value Creation professional to join the team. This is a unique hybrid role that combines transaction execution with hands-on portfolio value creation, working closely with management teams to drive performance improvement and strategic transformation.

Job Description

Deal Execution

  • Conduct end-to-end investment analysis including financial modeling, due diligence, and valuation
  • Support deal sourcing and pipeline development within target industrial and technology sectors
  • Lead or assist in commercial, operational, and strategic workstreams during transactions
  • Prepare investment memos and present recommendations to internal stakeholders



Value Creation & Portfolio Management

  • Work directly with portfolio company leadership to develop and implement value creation plans
  • Drive initiatives across:
    • Operational excellence (lean, cost optimization, productivity improvements)
    • Business transformation (digitalization, restructuring, process redesign)
    • Strategy (market expansion, pricing, product strategy)
  • Monitor performance metrics and track progress against value creation plans
  • Act as a thought partner to management teams on key business decisions



Strategic & Operational Projects

  • Lead transformation and performance improvement initiatives across portfolio companies
  • Apply structured, hypothesis-driven problem solving (MBB-style approach) to complex challenges
  • Translate strategy into execution with clear, measurable outcomes

The Successful Applicant

  • 7-10 years of experience across:
    • Private Equity/investment roles
    • Management consulting (MBB or top-tier strategy firms)
    • Corporate strategy/transformation role
  • Background in industrials, engineering, manufacturing, or related sectors
    • Ideal candidates may have started in engineering or technical roles and transitioned into consulting, strategy, or investing
  • Demonstrated experience delivering impact in areas such as:
    • Operational excellence (lean, supply chain, cost optimization)
    • Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and portfolio company leadership teams
    • Hands-on, execution-oriented mindset
