With a strong presence across international markets, the company is recognized for its commitment to quality, patient safety, operational excellence, and continuous innovation in the healthcare industry.Due to ongoing business expansion and increasing regional supply chain demands, they are seeking an Assistant Manager of Divisional Supply Chain Management to support end-to-end supply chain planning activities across global and regional operations.The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, extensive experience in supply chain planning, and a proven track record in managing complex supply chain networks within a manufacturing environment.

Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end supply chain planning activities to ensure optimal product availability while balancing inventory, cost, and service level objectives across regional and global markets.
  • Drive demand, production, procurement, and inventory planning processes by aligning business forecasts with operational capabilities and supply network requirements.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Procurement, Manufacturing, Logistics, and global stakeholders to develop and execute effective supply plans that support business growth.
  • Monitor inventory performance, forecast accuracy, and supply chain KPIs, implementing strategies to optimize working capital while maintaining target service levels.
  • Manage supply risks, capacity constraints, material shortages, and delivery challenges by developing mitigation plans and ensuring business continuity.
  • Oversee supplier and manufacturing site performance, ensuring timely communication and resolution of supply issues while driving improvements in reliability and responsiveness.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging analytics, digital tools, and automation opportunities to enhance supply chain efficiency, planning effectiveness, and operational performance.



The Successful Applicant



Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications such as APICS (CPIM/CSCP), CIPS, or equivalent will be an added advantage.



Experience



  • Minimum 6 to 8 years of experience in:
    • Supply Chain Planning
    • Demand Planning
    • Production Planning
    • Inventory Management
    • Procurement Planning
    • S&OP Processes


  • Proven experience managing end-to-end supply chain operations within a manufacturing environment.


  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing stakeholders across multiple business functions.


  • Exposure to APAC or global supply chain operations and multi-site planning environments.


  • Prior experience in a supervisory or team leadership capacity is highly preferred.



Technical Skills



  • Strong expertise in:

    • Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
    • Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)


  • Hands-on experience with ERP platforms, preferably SAP.


  • Proficiency in Power BI, business intelligence, and data visualization tools.


  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for modeling, reporting, and data analysis.


  • Strong understanding of supply chain analytics and performance metrics.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing APAC or global supply chain operations.
  • Strong knowledge of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) and S&OP frameworks.
  • Exposure to healthcare, medical device, pharmaceutical, electronics, FMCG, or advanced manufacturing industries.
  • Experience managing external suppliers, contract manufacturers, and third-party logistics providers.
  • Knowledge of supply chain digitalization, automation, and advanced analytics solutions.
