Job Description

  • Conduct application studies, sample evaluations, and system demonstrations for customers.
  • Provide technical consultation and recommend optimal inspection solutions.
  • Support system installation, setup, programming, and application deployment.
  • Troubleshoot technical and application-related issues to ensure customer success.
  • Deliver product and application training to customers, distributors, and internal teams.
  • Develop technical documentation, training materials, and best-practice guides.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams on software testing, product validation, and enhancements.
  • Gather customer feedback and market insights to support product development initiatives.
  • Partner with sales teams during customer meetings, technical presentations, and solution reviews.
  • Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and customer workshops.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitive activities, and emerging customer requirements.
  • Support customers across Southeast Asia through regular regional travel.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Automation, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a customer-facing technical support or applications engineering role.
  • Background within Electronics Manufacturing, SMT, Semiconductor, or Capital Equipment industries.
  • Experience with AXI, AOI, or SPI platforms will be highly advantageous.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage customers confidently.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive, results-oriented mindset.
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin to support regional stakeholders.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across Southeast Asia and internationally (up to 70%).
