The role combines technical solution design, feasibility assessment, costing, customer engagement, proposal management, and stakeholder coordination to deliver commercially competitive and executable warehouse automation solutions.

Job Description

  • Develop and promote warehouse automation and intralogistics solutions.
  • Identify new business opportunities and support sales growth initiatives.
  • Design and configure automation concepts based on customer requirements.
  • Conduct site surveys and analyse operational workflows.
  • Assess technical feasibility and commercial viability of proposed solutions.
  • Prepare cost estimates, quotations, layouts, and technical proposals.
  • Present solutions to customers and support negotiations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and external stakeholders throughout the sales process.
  • Ensure opportunities are managed according to established quality standards and procedures.
  • Support project handover, implementation planning, and customer engagement activities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse automation, intralogistics, material handling systems, technical sales, or project management.
  • Strong knowledge of automated logistics and warehouse systems.
  • Experience in solution design, costing, and proposal preparation.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong commercial awareness and customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Willingness to travel when required.
