Job Description

  • Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments in compliance with company policies.
  • Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions related to accounts payable.
  • Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors to address payment inquiries.
  • Prepare and generate reports related to accounts payable activities.
  • Support the month-end closing process by ensuring accurate AP data.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of accounts payable procedures.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency in AP operations.

The Successful Applicant

A successful AP Analyst should have:

  • A strong foundation in accounting and finance practices.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Analytical thinking and the ability to reconcile financial records accurately.
  • Knowledge of accounts payable processes in the retail industry is an advantage.
