  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure alignment with corporate governance standards.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports and present findings to key stakeholders.
  • Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and report on progress.
  • Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices in internal audit.
  • Support the team in developing and improving audit methodologies and tools.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Assistant Manager, Internal Audit should have:

  • Relevant qualifications in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certifications such as CIA, ACCA, or equivalent will be an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of internal audit principles and practices within the retail industry.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to assess risks and controls effectively.
  • Proficiency in audit methodologies and tools.
  • Strong communication skills for presenting findings and recommendations clearly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
