Job Description

  • Hands-on web development, translate designs into user-friendly web pages, using various frontend technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
  • Gathering requirements, UI/UX planning, writing code and testing, proof of concepts, code reviews and documentation.
  • Decide/create mobile-responsive web page design and structure.
  • Provide innovative user experience with interactions, animation or transitions.
  • Creative problem solving, able to analyse and debug codes, propose fixes.
  • Optimize application for maximum performance, speed and scalability.
  • Maintain and improve web applications.
  • Collaborate with product owners, backend developers for integration into REST APIs and/or microservices.
  • Able to create and design wireframes and mockups.
  • Independently perform R&D to find the right solutions.
  • Stay up to date with latest frontend technologies

The Successful Applicant

  • Possesses a Bachelor's Degree/Diploma/Professional Certificate in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or any IT related field.
  • 5-7 years of hands-on working experience as a Front End Developer & Back End Developer or Full-stack.
  • Familiarity with the following technologies is required: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery.
  • Knowledge of Vue.js, PHP, MySQL, Git and RESTFul APIs would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with browser testing and debugging.
  • In-depth understanding of the entire web development process (design, development and deployment).
  • Understanding of layout aesthetics, have an eye for good designs.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles.
  • Excellent analytical and multitasking skills.
  • Possess strong interest in R&D.
  • Self-motivated to explore new technologies, applications and environments.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent project and time management skills.
  • Self-starter and self-driven to produce top quality results and continuous improvement.
  • Candidates will be required to submit a portfolio of their past projects.
