Job Description

  • Manage and coordinate transport operations to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries.
  • Develop and implement strategies to optimize logistics and supply chain processes.
  • Monitor transport performance metrics and suggest improvements for operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international transport regulations and standards.
  • Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and internal teams to streamline transport activities.
  • Identify and resolve any issues related to transport delays or disruptions.
  • Prepare detailed reports on transport operations and performance for management review.
  • Support the procurement team in negotiating favorable contracts with transport service providers.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Transport Management professional should have:

  • Educational background in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in transport management within the industrial or manufacturing sector.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to improve logistics processes.
  • Knowledge of transport regulations and compliance requirements in Kuala Lumpur.
  • Excellent communication skills to coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using logistics management systems or relevant software.
