Job Description

As the Trade Compliance Manager, you will be the go-to expert for trade compliance matters across the region, ensuring business operations adhere to applicable import, export, customs, and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Providing expert guidance on international trade regulations, customs requirements, and compliance policies
  • Assessing compliance risks and recommending practical solutions to support business objectives
  • Partnering with Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Legal, and other key stakeholders on trade-related matters
  • Supporting compliance reviews, audits, and investigations while maintaining strong governance practices
  • Monitoring regulatory developments and translating changes into actionable business recommendations
  • Driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance compliance processes and operational efficiency
  • Maintaining accurate compliance documentation and supporting internal control frameworks



The Successful Applicant

A successful Trade Compliance Manager should have:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, International Trade, Law, Compliance, Supply Chain, Chemistry, or a related discipline
  • 6-12 years of experience in trade compliance, sanctions, due diligence, KYC, risk management, or regulatory compliance
  • Experience within multinational organizations or regulated industries
  • Exposure to business partner due diligence, sanctions screening, or trade controls
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
  • Good to have exposure to the chemical industry, including chemical regulations, product stewardship, or other regulated product environments
