Job Description

  • Develop and maintain C++ software for automation and equipment applications.
  • Translate technical needs into clear software functions that support equipment operation.
  • Build, test and refine software components to improve reliability and performance.
  • Investigate software issues and apply practical fixes to maintain system function.
  • Work with technology colleagues to integrate software with electrical, computer and mechatronic systems.
  • Document software designs, changes and test results for clear technical reference.
  • Review existing code and improve maintainability where required.
  • Contribute software engineering expertise to equipment-related development activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Software Engineer (C++) should have:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering or Software Engineering.
  • Relevant experience in automation or equipment industries.
  • Practical experience in software engineering and C++ development.
  • Knowledge of developing and testing software for equipment-related applications.
  • The ability to troubleshoot software issues using a structured approach.
  • Understanding of how software interfaces with electrical, computer or mechatronic systems.
