Job Description

  • Monitor and maintain all building systems and mission‑critical facilities equipment
  • Perform regular rounds, inspections, and operational assessments
  • Operate and adjust HVAC, chilled water, ventilation, electrical, and mechanical systems
  • Monitor UPS systems, emergency generators, and power distribution equipment
  • Maintain fire detection, fire suppression, and life safety systems
  • Conduct testing, analyze operational data, and ensure proper system performance
  • Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on all building equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment and system faults independently
  • Support building management systems in a mission‑critical environment
  • Ensure all systems operate efficiently, safely, and reliably
  • Respond effectively to operational issues, incidents, and service requests

The Successful Applicant

  • 2 year's + experience in mission‑critical facilities or building engineering
  • Valid A4 Chargeman qualification
  • Hands‑on experience with UPS, HVAC, generators, and fire/life safety systems
  • Strong electrical or mechanical expertise with working knowledge of the other discipline
  • Ability to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain complex building systems independently
  • Experience working in data centrers or high‑availability environments preferred
  • Strong customer service mindset when working with internal teams and clients
  • Good verbal and written communication skills for technical and operational reporting
  • Willingness to work shifts in a 24/7 operational environment
