The Accountant will be responsible for managing project and fixed asset accounting, ensuring accurate capitalization, reconciliations, and compliance with accounting standards. The role will collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support financial reporting, process improvements, system initiatives, and the resolution of accounting-related matters.

Job Description

  • Manage project and fixed asset accounting within SAP, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and standards.
  • Monitor project costs, capitalization, asset transfers, leasing transactions, and fixed asset records.
  • Prepare journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and support month-end closing activities.
  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and Business teams on project cost reviews, capitalization assessments, and asset management.
  • Support large-scale projects, system implementations, data migrations, and process improvement initiatives.
  • Resolve complex accounting issues, identify risks, and drive corrective actions and process enhancements.
  • Work independently to meet deadlines and support ad hoc assignments as required.



The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting.
  • Must have prior audit experience
  • Professional qualification such as ACCA/MIA/CPA/ICAEW is required.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and practices.
  • High attention to detail with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and stakeholder management skills in a regional or cross-functional environment.
