Job Description

  • Lead the preparation and review of accurate financial reports and statements in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Oversee month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes to ensure timely reporting.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors to facilitate audits and address any findings.
  • Develop and implement financial reporting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide strategic financial insights to support decision-making and business growth within the retail industry.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the financial reporting team to achieve departmental objectives.
  • Monitor changes in accounting standards and advise on their impact on financial reporting.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Manager Financial Reporting should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with professional certifications such as CPA or ACCA being advantageous.
  • Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulations.
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop a team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to support business objectives.
  • Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience in the retail industry is preferred but not mandatory.
