Job Description

You will be responsible for overseeing end-to-end ETL operations, ensuring data pipelines and batch processes run efficiently and reliably within defined timelines. This role requires strong technical expertise combined with the ability to manage incidents and support critical business cycles.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and supporting ETL batch cycles and data pipelines to ensure timely delivery of outputs
  • Providing L2/L3 production support, including incident resolution and root cause analysis
  • Monitoring and maintaining data workflows, job dependencies, and recovery processes
  • Working with ETL tools (e.g., Informatica, NiFi or similar frameworks)
  • Ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems
  • Driving performance optimisation through query tuning and process improvements
  • Automating manual processes using scripting (Bash/Shell, SQL)
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to support business-critical reporting cycles
  • Supporting governance, audit, and compliance requirements within data operations



The Successful Applicant

A successful candidate should have:

  • Strong experience in ETL operations and production support (L2/L3 environment)
  • Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, NiFi, or similar platforms
  • Solid skills in SQL and data warehousing concepts
  • Experience managing data pipelines, batch processing, and job orchestration
  • Proven ability in incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
  • Exposure to scripting (Bash/Shell) for automation is an advantage
  • Experience in banking, fintech, or regulated environments preferred
