The company continuously invests in automation, reliability improvement, sustainability, and employee development to support long-term growth.Job DescriptionLead and supervise the Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) team, including a competent Electrical Coordinator and a team of Electrical Technicians to ensure safe and efficient plant operations.Ensure high availability, reliability, and optimal performance of electrical, instrumentation, PLC, SCADA, automation, and control systems.Design, implement, maintain, and continuously improve electrical and instrumentation systems to support operational excellence.Lead troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and root cause analysis for electrical, instrumentation, and automation-related equipment failures.Develop, implement, and enhance preventive maintenance programs, maintenance strategies, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).Manage E&I projects from design review and engineering evaluation through installation, commissioning, start-up, and final handover.Oversee electrical infrastructure including substations, transformers, switchgears, motor control centres (MCCs), generators, utility systems, and associated equipment.Drive automation, digitalisation, energy-efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce operating costs.Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, regulatory, and company standards while maintaining accurate technical documentation and reports.Collaborate closely with production, quality, safety, contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to achieve plant performance, reliability, and business objectives.The Successful ApplicantBachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.Minimum 3+ years of experience in E&I engineering within a manufacturing, process, chemical, or industrial plant environment.Strong technical expertise in electrical systems, instrumentation, automation, and process control engineering.Hands-on experience with PLC, SCADA, HMI, and industrial automation systems, particularly Allen-Bradley and Mitsubishi platforms.Extensive instrumentation experience, including the selection, calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of field instruments, analyzers, transmitters, control valves, and related devices.Solid knowledge of electrical infrastructure, including substations, transformers, switchgears, motor control centres (MCCs), generators, and power distribution systems.Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical, instrumentation, automation, and control system issues using structured root cause analysis methodologies.Strong understanding of preventive maintenance practices, reliability engineering, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.Demonstrated leadership experience in managing technicians, contractors, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver operational and project objectives.Excellent communication, problem-solving, project management, and stakeholder management skills, with proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools.What's on OfferCompetitive salary and benfits package.Opportunities for career growth in an established international organization within the chemical manufacturing industry.ContactDaryl LimQuote job refJN-072026-7066540Phone number+603 2302 4065Job summaryFunctionEngineering & ManufacturingSpecialisationElectricalWhat is your area of specialisation?Industrial / ManufacturingLocationNegeri SembilanContract TypePermanentConsultant nameDaryl LimConsultant contact+603 2302 4065Job ReferenceJN-072026-7066540
