Job Description

You will play a key role in supporting data management and reporting processes, ensuring that business requirements are accurately translated into structured data outputs. This is a hands-on role requiring strong technical capabilities, combined with the ability to work closely with stakeholders across the organisation.

Key responsibilities include:

Translating business requirements into functional data specifications and reporting outputs
Reviewing and validating data requirements against data warehouse structures and models
Performing data mapping, analysis, and profiling to ensure data quality and consistency
Developing and optimising SQL queries for data extraction and reporting
Investigating data issues and performing root cause analysis with appropriate fixes
Ensuring alignment with enterprise data models and governance standards
Collaborating with business and technical stakeholders to support critical reporting and data initiatives

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Data Analyst should have:

Minimum 10-12 years of experience in data analysis or data warehouse environments
Strong hands-on experience in SQL and data warehousing
Proven experience as a functional data analyst within reporting or analytics environments
Prior exposure to banking or fintech environments is highly preferred
Strong understanding of data mapping, data profiling, and reporting requirements
Ability to work as a senior individual contributor with high ownership
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage business and technical teams
Experience working in structured or enterprise data environments
