This role is ideal for an experienced SAP MM consultant who enjoys solving complex business and system issues while acting as a key functional expert for procurement, inventory, and warehouse management processes. The position focuses heavily on SAP MM support, configuration, customisation, and escalations rather than technical development.

An MNC organisation located in Penang.

Job Description

* Act as the primary functional SME for SAP S/4HANA MM

* Support Purchasing, Inventory Management, and Stock Management processes

* Handle functional troubleshooting, escalations, and root cause analysis

* Perform SAP MM configuration and customisation activities

* Support enhancements and process improvement initiatives across procurement and supply chain operations

* Work with global stakeholders, business users, and key process owners

* Participate in implementation, rollout, and transformation projects where required

* Review technical concepts and developments when necessary, but this is not a technical development-focused role

The Successful Applicant

A successful SAP MM professional should have:

* Minimum 5 years of experience as an SAP MM Consultant

* Strong hands-on expertise in SAP MM configuration and customising

* Experience supporting Purchasing, Inventory Management, and Warehouse/Stock Management processes

* Ability to troubleshoot complex business and system issues and perform root cause analysis

* Good understanding of SAP integrations and related business processes

* Experience working with regional or global stakeholders

* Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

* Able to support functional requirements independently and act as a subject matter expert

What's on Offer

  • Competitive salary ranging from MYR 162,000 to MYR 198,000 per annum.
  • Contractual bonus equivalent to a 13-month salary.
  • Permanent position based in Penang.
