Job Description

  • Prepare accurate financial reports and statements in compliance with accounting standards.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage tax filings.
  • Analyse financial data to provide insights for decision-making.
  • Maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes.
  • Coordinate with auditors for statutory audits and address audit queries.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
  • Assist in financial system implementation or upgrades as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Experience in tax compliance and audit processes.
  • Attention to detail and excellent analytical skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in the Industrial/Manufacturing industry.
