Job Description

  • Act as the SAP Production Planning subject matter expert for manufacturing processes
  • Analyze, design, and optimize end-to-end SAP PP processes within a mechanical engineering context
  • Implement and support SAP PP functionalities including:
    • Production Planning and Control
    • Discrete Manufacturing
    • Bill of Materials (BOM) management
    • Routings and Work Centers
    • Production Orders and Capacity Planning
    • Variant Configuration
  • Lead or support SAP S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, and system conversions
  • Configure SAP PP modules, including customizing, testing, and documentation
  • Work with SAP Fiori applications to support user-friendly process execution
  • Collaborate closely with related SAP modules including MM, SD, QM, PM, and CO
  • Support key users through workshops, training sessions, and ongoing system support
  • Participate in global template design and rollout activities
  • Ensure solution stability, performance, and compliance with global standards

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on SAP Production Planning experience
  • Strong background in manufacturing or mechanical engineering environments
  • Proven expertise in SAP PP customizing and process design
  • Strong knowledge of variant configuration, BOM management, and routing management
  • Solid experience working with SAP S/4HANA
  • Very good understanding of SAP Fiori concepts and applications
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing integration with MM, SD, and CO modules
  • Experience supporting international SAP projects and rollouts
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within cross-functional, multicultural teams
