Job Description

  • Provide security architecture and secure design guidance for projects, changes, and solutions involving CRM and low‑code/no‑code platforms.
  • Perform security risk assessments, threat modelling, and assurance activities for applications built on Salesforce and Dynamics ecosystems.
  • Ensure alignment with Digital Security policies, control catalogue requirements, and industry standards such as NIST CSF and ISO/IEC 27001.
  • Advise on identity and access management, data protection, logging and monitoring, secure configuration, and integration security, including Entra ID (Azure AD) integration.
  • Support third‑party and vendor risk assessments where Salesforce or Dynamics applications involve external suppliers or managed services.
  • Collaborate closely with Business Information Security Leads (BISLs), platform teams, Architecture, Privacy, Legal, and delivery teams to embed security into delivery.
  • Support audit, regulatory, and assurance activities, including preparation of evidence and responses to internal and external auditors.
  • Provide guidance on secure use of platform‑native security capabilities, such as Salesforce Shield, Dynamics security roles, APIs, and integration controls.
  • Contribute to cyber security standards, patterns, and reusable guidance for CRM platforms, leveraging extensive enterprise SaaS security experience and relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CCSP - desirable).

The Successful Applicant

A successful Senior Cyber Security SME should have:

  • Deep hands‑on security expertise in Salesforce (and Dynamics 365), including platform security architecture, native security controls, APIs, integrations, and secure configuration practices.
  • Strong capability in SaaS security assurance, covering risk assessments, threat modelling, control mapping, and secure application lifecycle practices in large enterprise environments.
  • Excellent understanding of identity, access management, and data protection, including Entra ID (Azure AD) integration, least‑privilege access, PII/GDPR considerations, and secure logging and monitoring.
  • Proven ability to align security controls to standards and policies, such as Digital Security requirements, NIST CSF, ISO/IEC 27001, and internal control catalogues.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and advisory skills, enabling effective collaboration with BISLs, architects, delivery teams, vendors, and auditors while embedding security into business solutions.
