The Sales Executive will focus on driving new sales and expanding long-term client relationships within the commercial solar sector. You will lead business development efforts from prospecting through to closing rooftop solar projects while supporting clients throughout the sales lifecycle.

Job Description

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to acquire new commercial and industrial clients.
  • Generate qualified leads through proactive prospecting, networking, and industry connections.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to drive repeat business and upselling opportunities.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations, proposals, and negotiations.
  • Understand customer energy requirements and recommend suitable solar solutions within budget.
  • Promote solar products and services while achieving agreed sales targets.
  • Follow up on client down payments and provide after-sales support, including calls and site visits.
  • Position solar rooftop solutions effectively to meet business and energy needs.

The Successful Applicant

  • Minimum of two years experience in sales or business development, preferably within renewable energy or solar.
  • Proven ability to consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Demonstrated experience closing commercial and industrial solar projects.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and interpersonal skills.
  • Confident negotiation and closing abilities, with resilience in handling objections.
  • Experience approaching and securing solar rooftop installation projects, such as factories or warehouses.
  • Self-motivated, performance-driven, and comfortable with outdoor or field-based sales.
