Job Description

  • Develop and grow sales opportunities within the food and beverage ingredients market.
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with manufacturers and key customers through regular engagement.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities with both existing and prospective customers to achieve sales targets.
  • Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable ingredient solutions for commercial and technical needs.
  • Prepare and deliver sales proposals, presentations, and product demonstrations.
  • Manage sales forecasting, budgeting, pipeline tracking, and performance reporting.
  • Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues effectively to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, food regulations, and market developments.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to identify new product concepts and market opportunities.

The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Ideally 2-3 years of B2B sales experience within food ingredients or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of food ingredients, applications, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Commercially driven with a proven ability to achieve sales targets.
  • Well-organised, self-motivated, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
