Job Description

  • Lead and manage General Ledger and Record-to-Report (RTR) operations within the Shared Services Centre, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for all in-scope entities.
  • Demonstrate strong expertise in end-to-end accounting processes, including cost accounting and balance sheet and profit & loss variance analysis.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate policies, accounting standards, financial control frameworks, and statutory regulations.
  • Review financial statements, account reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analyses to uphold robust governance and reporting accuracy.
  • Serve as the RTR subject matter expert, handling escalations and providing technical accounting guidance.
  • Define and monitor team KPIs and OLAs, driving operational excellence and continuous process improvements.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor team members to build a high-performing team and strengthen succession planning.
  • Optimize resource utilization, enhance internal controls, and support transitions or scope expansions within the Shared Services Centre.

The Successful Applicant

A successful RTR Team Lead should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or equivalent is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of RTR processes and financial reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with multiple stakeholders.
