Job Description

  • Lead a regional team supporting customs operations and trade compliance activities.
  • Drive compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, and import/export controls.
  • Act as the key escalation point for customs-related issues involving brokers, logistics providers, and business stakeholders.
  • Monitor customs broker performance and drive data accuracy, KPI management, and continuous improvement across the team.
  • Partner with global stakeholders to support continuous improvement and process standardization.
  • Support business growth through effective governance, reporting, and compliance oversight.
  • Contribute to the setup and development of a growing customs operations function.



The Successful Applicant



A successful candidate should have:

  • Experience in customs operations, trade compliance, or international trade within a multinational environment.
  • Good knowledge of customs regulations, HS Classification, import/export processes, and trade agreements.
  • Experience working with customs brokers, freight forwarders, or logistics service providers.
  • Exposure to KPI management, reporting, and data governance.
  • Prior people management or team leadership experience.
  • SAP knowledge will be an added advantage.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and problem-solving skills
  • Flexible afternoon-to-evening schedule (3pm-12am Malaysia time) supporting global stakeholders, with hybrid working arrangements and shift allowance provided.
