Job Description

  • Lead Regional Product Cost Control - Own monthly product cost activities for the region, including inventory reconciliation, cost reviews, and ensuring accuracy of local margin, cost, variance, and WIP figures.
  • Drive Audit & Inventory Assurance - Serve as the main contact for all product‑cost‑related audits, leading local inventory counts, supporting global audit requests, and validating annual and cycle count results.
  • Manage Variance & Cost Analysis - Conduct detailed variance analyses (PPV, production cost, write‑offs) and provide insights to support operational decision‑making.
  • Support Forecasting & Financial Planning - Partner with Global FinOps on AOP and forecast cycles, contributing accurate local product cost inputs and scenario insights.
  • Enhance Cross‑Functional Cost Accuracy - Collaborate with Supply Chain and commercial teams to review material costings, monitor inventory levels, and support global inventory management processes.
  • Prepare Reporting & Strengthen Regional Presence - Deliver financial reports for senior leadership, analyze integrated COGS, and maintain regular on‑site presence at tollers as required.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Regional Cost Controller should have:

  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Strong expertise in cost control / plant cost accounting
  • Experience in the industrial/manufacturing sector is highly desirable.
  • Regional experience covering the APAC market will be needed.
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
