Job Description

  • Lead R&D initiatives focused on coating formulation development and performance improvement.
  • Develop new coating products and drive renovation efforts for existing product lines.
  • Conduct laboratory testing, data analysis, and troubleshooting to optimize formulations and processes.
  • Oversee scale‑up activities to ensure seamless transition from lab development to full‑scale production.
  • Collaborate closely with manufacturing, quality, and commercial teams to align product performance with operational and market needs.
  • Perform research and experiments to enhance product quality, durability, and application efficiency.
  • Ensure all formulations and development activities comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams as well as external customers.
  • Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all R&D activities, test results, and product development progress.
  • Stay updated on market trends, customer requirements, and advancements in coating and powder‑coating technologies.

The Successful Applicant

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5-7 years of experience in coating or a closely related chemical field
  • Strong hands‑on experience in coating R&D
  • Candidates with chemical engineering backgrounds and exposure to plastics, chemicals, composites, or automotive industries are also suitable.
  • Proven experience in innovation, formulation development, and production scale‑up
  • Strong analytical and understanding of formulation and processing principles
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • An eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and techniques.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to achieving high-quality results.
  • Strong communication skills.
