They provide a supportive environment for their team members to excel in their careers.Job DescriptionPerform monthly Local GAAP analytical reviews and reconciliations, including posting necessary adjustments.Coordinate with external auditors and prepare draft financial statements.Handle certification reconciliation in the preparer role for Local GAAP and liaise with the Corporate Secretary on Directors' Resolutions and meeting minutes for statutory reporting.Prepare and submit XBRL statutory filings, including ACRA/Annual Returns, within stipulated deadlines.Complete statutory surveys for government bodies and agencies, providing required financial information.Review and approve cost statements for export tax tariff grant applications and handle customs-related matters.Support the SBS team in resolving unidentified payments and receipts.Prepare finished goods cost statements for FTA applications related to export tax tariff grants (AP customers).Collaborate with tax auditors on corporate tax matters.Ensure timely submission of ECI, tax estimates, and final tax filings.Prepare tax packages, including current and deferred tax computations, and upload them into the tax system.Draft financial statement tax notes with support from the income tax accounting team.Manage Return to Accruals (RTA) processes under Local GAAP.Update credit adjustments for quarterly corporate tax reporting.Ensure all P12/P13 Local GAAP adjustments are accurately posted in SAP.Process requests for Local GAAP GL account creation and extension.Analyze withholding tax (WHT) GL accounts and ensure WHT certificates are obtained for Foreign Tax Credit and Double Tax Relief purposes.Undertake ad-hoc tasks and support process improvement initiatives as required.The Successful ApplicantA successful Project Accounting (GL) should have:The incumbent should hold a degree in Accounting or Finance, with a minimum of 3-5 years of relevant experience.The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with the ability to work independently. Excellent planning and organizational abilities, combined with proven problem-solving capability, are essential. Strong conceptual thinking and analytical skills are also required.This role requires a solid understanding of banking payment processes, local tax regulations, and audit procedures.
