You will work across R&D, engineering, vendors, and factory teams to translate evolving requirements into scalable, production-ready capability.

Our client is a global advanced manufacturing organization undergoing significant technology and factory scale up. The business operates in a highly technical environment where close collaboration between functions and vendors is critical to successful factory ramp and execution.

Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end equipment and tooling programmes from early concept through qualification and factory ramp.
  • Partner closely with R&D, process engineering, and manufacturing teams to clarify requirements, scope, and execution plans.
  • Work directly with equipment and automation vendors to align technical capability, timelines, and resourcing.
  • Drive programme schedules, milestones, dependencies, and risk management across multiple parallel initiatives.
  • Navigate ambiguity where requirements evolve, helping teams establish structure and direction to maintain momentum.
  • Identify execution gaps and misalignment early, addressing them collaboratively and constructively.
  • Coordinate stakeholders across functions to manage changing priorities and constrained resources.
  • Provide clear, concise programme updates and decision points to senior stakeholders.
  • Support factory start-up, tooling readiness, automation integration, and production ramp activities.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Program Manager should have:

  • A degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field.
  • 15+ years' experience in advanced manufacturing environments such as semiconductor, automation, precision equipment, lasers or similar industries
  • Strong background in equipment development, tooling design, automation or factory start up with exposure to qualification and ramp
  • Proven expertise in managing technical projects
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Naturally curious, technically grounded and effective at involving the right people at the right time



  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving project goals.
