Job Description

  • Lead end-to-end production operations, ensuring efficient execution across molding and decorative processes while meeting output, quality, and delivery targets.
  • Own production planning and execution, including validating work orders, optimising schedules, and proactively resolving bottlenecks to maintain on-time delivery.
  • Drive quality excellence and compliance, ensuring all manufacturing activities meet customer specifications, internal QMS standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, providing hands-on guidance to address molding and decorative defects and minimise production disruptions.
  • Champion continuous improvement initiatives, focusing on cycle time reduction, yield enhancement, and process optimisation to boost productivity and efficiency.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire production teams, setting clear goals, improving communication, and building capability through targeted training and coaching.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and with suppliers, ensuring seamless production flow and timely resolution of equipment, machinery, and operational issues.
  • Exercise operational authority when required, including stopping production for quality or safety concerns and optimising manpower and scheduling decisions.



The Successful Applicant

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field
  • 5-10 years' experience in manufacturing/production (preferably plastics or molding)
  • Proven leadership experience managing teams on the shop floor
  • Strong technical knowledge in molding/decorative processes
  • Familiarity with QMS and regulatory requirements
  • Lean / Six Sigma exposure is an advantage
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
