Job Description

  • Develop and deliver procurement plans that align with business needs and supply chain priorities.
  • Lead sourcing activities to identify suitable suppliers, services and commercial options.
  • Manage supplier relationships to support service quality, continuity and agreed delivery requirements.
  • Lead commercial discussions and negotiations to achieve sound purchasing outcomes.
  • Review procurement spend and supplier performance to identify practical improvement opportunities.
  • Work with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and set clear procurement requirements.
  • Oversee contract discussions and supplier terms to support clear commercial arrangements.
  • Improve procurement processes to strengthen consistency, visibility and purchasing efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Procurement Director should have:

  • Strong procurement and supply chain capability.
  • Regional exposure within the APAC region including China.
  • Experience developing and delivering procurement plans.
  • Proven ability to manage sourcing activities and supplier selection.
  • Confidence leading commercial negotiations and supplier discussions.
  • Ability to review spend, supplier performance and purchasing needs.
  • Experience managing supplier relationships and commercial terms.
