Job Description

  • Lead and manage the accounts payable team for the EMEA region, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
  • Monitor and improve AP processes to enhance efficiency and compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Resolve escalated issues related to accounts payable and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and review financial reports related to accounts payable activities for the EMEA region.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements in all AP processes.
  • Support system implementations and upgrades relevant to accounts payable functions.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to team members to foster a high-performing team.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.

The Successful Applicant

A successful AP Team Lead (EMEA) should have:

  • A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • Proven expertise in accounts payable processes and financial operations, withing the Shared Services Industry. (MUST HAVE)
  • Prior leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a team effectively. (MUST HAVE)
  • Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with a focus on process automation and improvement.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills to work with stakeholders across regions.
  • A detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy and compliance in all operations.
